Re: Space Station
I remember a few years back the ISS flew over the UK on Christmas Eve. Took my 7 year daughter up the green to see it. It was basically a white dot that went across the sky, but told her is was Father Christmas on his way from the North Pole to start his deliveries. The joy on her little face was the best Christmas present I've ever had.

Re: Space Station
Watch it all the time.

Took a photo early Monday morning of two galaxies and four planets in one shot!

So the Milky Way (We're in it) and Andromeda, Plus the Earth, Jupiter, Mars and Saturn all in one shot!

Sounds good defjam, would love to see that.

Re: Space Station
If you're going to call it 'the' Earth then really you should call the others 'the' Jupiter, 'the' Mars' and so on. Otherwise it's home advantage at best and outright discrimination at worst.

I could sit out on my balcony and stare up at space for hours. Fortunately, being so close to the mountains behind the city, light pollution is very low and the skies rarely occluded by clouds.

All that's missing is a few beers...

defjam 2:07 Sun Mar 29; 3 years in a dry Islamic nation has strange effects on the best of us...

...I should be in East London right now, supping ale, preparing to pop over to the Hague next week for a wedding.
